Procedure

De-energize at Main Breaker
Open the main disconnect. Verify zero voltage with a meter on all three legs before touching any conductor.

Isolate Compressor Relay
Remove the relay cover, photograph wiring, then pull the 24V control lead. Bag and tag.

Discharge Capacitor Bank
Short across terminals with a 20kΩ bleed resistor for 10 seconds. Confirm 0V before removal.

Free the Blower Motor
Unbolt the four mount screws, disconnect the plug, and slide the motor forward along the rail.

Reseat Sensor Harness
Inspect pins for corrosion. Apply dielectric grease and reseat until the locking tab clicks.
